The Isekai Warrior Mage [LitRPG Harem Fantasy]

It's an interesting read overall, and mostly impeccable grammar. But the story has a large weakness - the writing. The sequencing tends to feel formulaic (some deep descriptions, some dialogue, some more description, some dialogue, etc.; oftentimes the suspension of disbelief does not quite work and you can feel the author behind the words unfolding the planned steps, or using dialogue as a thinly veiled excuse to deliver more lore or descriptions). The writing main flaw particularly shows itself in the dialogues; all characters essentially speak in the same voice, telegraphed in lines that feel preprogrammed to deliver the author intent, rather than the natural extension of their own thoughts and personality. Most of all, the writing often breaks immersion with earth-driven slang and expressions; words like 'sh*t-show of horrors' or 'f*ck' or 'tv', 'car accident', concepts that are clearly earth-bound but inexplicably seemingly understood by aliens from this other world, seeing as they don't particularly react. Example, the protagonist meeting a fantasy goblin for the very first time in this new world: “Who’s that?” the goblin asked, squinting skeptically. “And what is that he is wearing around his neck? No, what is that on his shoulder?! Is that a human with a dragon companion?” “You let her go, or I’m slicing your big greasy friend here five ways from Sunday !” I shouted. “I have no idea what that expression means, but it certainly sounds like a threat!” the goblin retorted. “You have no business tossing those around at us! Do you have no sense of danger? Can you not fathom the level of shit you’re in?!” Goblins, clearly, must be quite educated and culturally close to planet Earth. A pity, as I otherwise wanted to get deeper into the world building and story line; but too often the dialogue and characters sounded so absurd or out of place that my tolerance got tested -- eventually up to breaking point.
